Maybe if I just cook yummy stuff like this from your website and other ACD blogs and keep from labeling it at ACD in my mind, I won't flip out? lol! This looks wonderful and is now on the menu for this week, thanks!

Hi ck,
While I can't say what would work for you, I know that sweet potatoes were okay for me. They are actually fairly low glycemic and are allowed in the first stage of the Whole Approach diet.

Hey, I see that you used sweet potatoes in one of your recipes. I just got done with Phase 2 of the ACD from the book you used. I took the pau d arco caplets while on the diet. I was on the Phase 2 diet for about 2 months and went to the girlie dr. and she said that I am no longer have an infection. My question is that i see you used sweet potatoes in your recipes. I was confused in the book if sweet potatoes were safe or not because it says yams are foods to enjoy but yellow sweet potatoes aren't. Anyway, I did enjoy sweet potato slices with cinnamon and cloves sprinkled on top baked in the oven basted with oil as a snack for a few weeks, but I laid off them for a while. I wasn't sure if they were safe for the diet. I assume they are. I have just now been enjoying Phase 3 of the diet and more fruits. I am glad to find someone else who suffered with me :).

Oh. No fermented foods. Bummer. You are inspirational for sticking with it, and very creative! This recipe looks great, as does your faux chocolate!

Wow, Ricki - just reread the things you are not eating. It's a whole new level of tough. I think the only reason I CAN eat vegan is because I can still have bread, pasta, fruit, peanut butter(!).

I bet you are laughing when people say that a regular vegan diet is restrictive. The diet WITH beer, AND cake.
