Really? Even with only 2 Tbsp of tahini? Maybe I’m just too used to the taste (or maybe it depends on brand)–I didn’t really notice it at all! Let me know how they turn out if you try them with extra maple syrup next time! You might like the Maple Flax cookies better for more of a maple flavor.

I found that these cookies tasted a LOT like tahini (especially the next day) And not very much like maple syrup. Perhaps next time I’ll increase the maple syrup amount and decrease the tahini.

I love seeing you use lower starch flours and nut meals! These cookies sounds like a great way to highlight maple syrup as a flavorful sweetener.
